We’re just days away from the return of Riverdale and as ~teased~ by cast members, this season is going to be even darker than the first!
Adding to said darkness is a brand new member of the Southside Serpents, Sweet Pea.
Yep, that’s his name!
The actor behind the character, Jordan Connor announced the news via his Instagram.
“Say hello to Sweet Pea. Don’t let the name fool you. 😏,” he captioned a pic where he can be seen sitting on a motorbike, gang tatt and all.
He also shared a pic alongside two other members of the gang, captioned: “the crew”.
This isn’t Jordan’s first time with The CW!
He previously starred on the ~magical~ series Supernatural where he played a demon, and now it looks like he’s playing a different kind of bad boy!
Meanwhile, fans have been quick to embrace Jordan in the comments.
“Welcome to the riverdale gang sweet pea lol soooooo excited to see you on screen!” One fan wrote.
“I am so excited to see the new characters in season 2,” wrote another.
