The Vampire Diaries spin-off show Legacies will soon be on our TV screens, and the fact that familiar faces like Matt Donovan and Alaric will return has us all tingly!
But one rumour that has quickly spread recently is that Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) will be returning!
Unfortunately, it’s not the case.
“Absolutely, 100 percent not. Stefan is forever dead,” Paul told TVGuide.com.
Why do this to us?!?!
However, the silver lining is that Paul will be directing an episode of Legacies, as he confirmed at the San Diego comic-con event. He has previously directed episodes of The Vampire Diaries and Shadowhunters, so we already know he’s going to kill it!
