We don’t have long until the final season of Game of Thrones is released, so being the antsy, impatient people we are, we’re looking EVERYWHERE for hints and spoilers.
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) have spoken to Rolling Stone in a new interview about growing up in the spotlight.
Sophie actually compared her career to Justin Bieber’s, at the start of his career. “She [Sansa] sees the world through rose-tinted glasses at the very beginning,” Sophie said. “She is completely oblivious to who the royal family are. It’s like any Justin Bieber fan—they don’t realise Justin has his darkness about him.”
In the interview, Maisie reveals something about Sansa that has us VERY WORRIED.
“After I read season eight, I watched season one—there’s a lot of similarities,” she said.
There is currently a theory online that Sansa will die, because a teaser clip shows her telling Daenerys Targaryen, “Winterfell is yours, Your Grace.”
Interestingly, that’s the same thing her dad, Ned Stark, said to Robert Baratheon in season one, right before he went to King’s Landing and got beheaded.
Then again, Sophie revealed that the showrunners gave her a storyboard of their favourite Sansa scene after season eight wrapped.
The chose the scene that happened to be her very last of the series, which she revealed she has hanging on her wall at home.
Would she hang a photo of her dead character on her wall at home? Probably not. Would she hang a photo of her character on the iron throne? HELL YES!
Sophie also said, “I feel very satisfied with the ending of the entire show. Every story arc came to a really good close.”
