Broken up one week, engaged the next, since Sophie Monk crowned Stu Laundy the winner of The Bachelorette the pair’s romance has been plagued by rumours.
So when the comedic star and her new boyfriend stepped out at the 2017 ARIA Awards last night, fans knew they could expect some hilarious reactions to all the reports.
She took her role as presenter as an opportunity to make some jokes about her personal life.
Before presenting the award for Best Pop Release, Sophie brought up the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement this week.
“It’s a special day because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced their engagement so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to tell you all that … Um … Stu is still married,” she deadpanned to a laughing audience.
Yes, months after he told her on the hit show that he still wasn’t divorced from his ex-wife the publican is still married.
Despite the marriage jibe, the pair seemed perfectly happy as they walked the red carpet together.
