Shay Mitchell is currently being praised for normalising the ALREADY COMPLETELY NORMAL act of breastfeeding, with the most stunning Instagram photo we’ve ever seen.

But because the internet can be a ~terrible~ place, one social media user decided to dub Shay an ‘attention seeker’ and shame her online.
*insert eye roll here*
Posting a photo of herself breastfeeding her bubba Atlas Noa, the Pretty Little Liars star wrote: “Breast friends”.
Naturally, once a woman decides to celebrate feeding her child the internet will have views, and not all of them will be good.
One person decided to shame Shay for the photo, even calling her an ‘attention getter’.
“I’m a fan of her, but this picture just says but it’s an attention getter. She’s not even looking at the baby, she’s not connected with the baby she’s connected with camera.”
Shay, who was having approximately zero of this lady’s sh*t, clapped back in a big way: “I missed the part in the baby books that stated I had to maintain eye contact with my daughter while she feeds rather than capturing an amazing moment we were having.
“Pls let me know where I can download your parenting manual, I’ll get right on it!”
YAS QUEEN!
Not everyone had such an issue with Shay’s objectively beautiful snap, with celeb mums taking to the comment section to show the actress some love.
“Mommy Goals!” Ashley Graham wrote, while Hilary Duff said, “That [is] exactly what I looked liiiike!!!”
The moral of the story? Do not police women’s bodies EVER, and NEVER shame a woman for celebrating breastfeeding her baby in whatever way she chooses to.
