WHO is Marshmellow?
The elusive DJ has made a pretty amazing name for himself recently, with some of the biggest bangers and collaborations under his belt… but at the 2018 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards, fans were shook when none other than Shawn Mendes revealed himself under that iconic mask.
WOT?
“Woah! Hot in there. Well, thank you so much!” Shawn shouted at Moe Shalizi, who is Marshmello’s manager, before exiting the stage.
Of course, Shawn is totally joking. The real Marshmello is reportedly DJ Chris Comstock aka Dotcom, according to a Forbes report from 2017.
But, Twitter was quickly alight with conspiracy theories, with Shawn’s manager Andrew Gertler tweeting a photo of two Marshmellos asking, “Who’s the real @marshmellomusic? @shalizi @ShawnMendes.”
