Shawn Mendes may have just announced his track list and album artwork for Shawn Mendes: The Album, but he’s out smashing other people’s songs in the meantime.
Like BFF Camila Cabello‘s hit tune “Never Be The Same.”
While Shawn was chatting in an interview with Vodafone Big Top 40 radio show, a fan asked Shawn to sing the high-notes of her song.
Somehow, without actually knowing the words, he nailed it.

“I love her to death,” he recently told TIME about Camila, adding that if given the chance, would collaborate with her in again in a heartbeat.
“If we get a chance, I’m sure there will be something,” he shared. “Even if it’s just me and her writing, maybe it will be when we’re 35 or 50.”
