Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson’s highly anticipated collab has officially launched, but just like everything Jeffree and Shane, it wasn’t without some serious drama.

According to reports, fans have been left feeling ripped off after they waited for hours in line, only for their purchases to be sold out when they got to the checkout. What’s more, the website seems to have fully crashed on a lot of people.
To be fair to Jeffree and Shane, this problem is very much out of their control.
On November 1st, the beauty industries new duo released their collaboration, which was already receiving epic reviews before it even hit stores.
But as Miss Kylie Jenner would know, when something is so hyped the masses will flock, and for some reason, Shopify – the platform Jeffree and Shane were using to sell their products – crashed under the extreme mass of people wanting to buy their products.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Jeffree looks understandably stressed, as he’s legit waiting for HOURS for the website to refresh itself.
“Hey guys, I can’t believe any of this is even happening, we’re two hours in and here’s the real motherf*cking tea.
“The platform we use to sell our makeup is called Shopify,” Jeffree begins to explain.
“A lot of people use it, Yeezy’s, Kylie, ColourPop, everyone. There has been so much traffic me and Shane combined, broke the platform.
“Like we’ve been sitting here, now we’re on hour two,” Jeffree continues, “And tons of people are being checked out per minute, but there was so much traffic, it broke the front end, it broke the back end, everything is f*cked.
“Y’all broke the internet.”
Yo fam, Jeffree is SHOOK, and that’s saying something.
Despite it really not being the fault of Jeffree Cosmetics, people have taken to the YouTuber’s Instagram to express their frustration, as well as raise some very valid concerns, like the fact they may have just spent money on something without any confirmation of receiving the actual goods.
What a mess, fam.
