The feud between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift is the stuff of legend, with both sides continuing to hurl thinly-veiled insults at each other for years.
We won’t go all the way back to the beginning for this one because the history is long, so instead, we’ll take you back to 2016 when Kanye West released the song ‘Famous’, with the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”
Taylor then claimed Kanye was taking credit for her fame, absolutely blasting him a the VMA’s.
Enter Kim Kardashian.
Kim couldn’t stand by and watch her husband getting slammed, so in the power move to end all power moves, the reality star posted a series of videos to Snapchat which showed Kanye getting Taylor’s approval over the controversial the lyric via a phone call, essentially exposing the fact that Taylor lied.
And so, kicked off the year of the snake and Taylor’s Reputation era.
Fast forward to this morning when Selena Gomez decided to promote her BFF’s mortal enemy’s brand on Instagram, shocking fans in the process.
“Legit, so freaking comfortable”, Selena wrote, taking Skims.
Selena then quickly deleted the snap – after receiving what we can only assume to be an angry call from Taylor – before posting a dedication post to her friend.
“My ride or die,” Selena began.
“I would die for this one. Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better human being.
For all those claiming Selena just chose Kim’s side in one of the biggest celebrity feuds ever, she had this to say: “I’m on your side for life”.
Sorry Kim, looks like Selena is still firmly on Taylor’s side.
