If, like us, you’re craving a new teen superhero flick, may we suggest: Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, an exciting new Disney Plus original film coming to the platform on the 17th of July.
Set in a world where second-born children of a royal family possess superpowered abilities, the film follows Sam (Peyton Elizbaeth-Lee), a “second-born princess” who detests her royal duties, opting out of them and preferring to attend protests and concerts instead. She’s lived her entire life in the shadows of her sister and soon-to-be queen, Princess Eleanor, and soon discovers she has powerful supernatural abilities.
From there, Sam is invited into a secret society club at school and realises she’s not alone, forming a gang of gifted second-born royals led by their teacher, Professor Morrow (Skylar Astin).
Basically, it’s the love child of Princess Diaries, X-Men and M.I. High.
And, not only is it pushing boundaries with the first live-action black prince in Disney’s history, but the cast are absolutely gorgeous. So, we’ve compiled all of the cast’s Instagrams, done some digging, and come out with exactly who the cast of Disney Plus’s Secret Society of Second-Born Royals are dating.
Peyton Elizabeth-Lee
Peyton Elizabeth-Lee plays Sam, the young rebellious Princess and second-born main character of the film. She also played Andi Mack in the titular Disney TV show Andi Mack.
Elizabeth-Lee hasn’t shared anything on Instagram that explicitly says she’s dating right now, but we did catch this Instagram post she made for Andi Mack co-star Joshua Rush’s birthday. A photo from the same event of the two was also shared on his Instagram so, y’know, take from that what you will.
Then the two went to Disneyland together which is quite possibly the cutest and ultimate date location.
Niles Fitch
In Secret Society: Second-Born Royals, Niles Fitch plays Prince Tuma, the first live-action black prince in the history of Disney.
While Fitch hasn’t explicitly stated whether he’s dating anyone right now, on the 22nd of December, the This Is Us star posted a photo of him with Paris Timan with the caption, “me w my dawg.”
And, perhaps, Fitch is the Instagram boyfriend behind these glowing pics.
Olivia Deeble
Aussie Olivia Deeble plays Princess Roxana in Secret Society: Second-Born Royals. And outside of the show, the former Home and Away star is a total fashion queen.
Here she is wearing a houndstooth blazer.
Then there’s this pic of her in a smoking pair of black latex pants and a blouse with ballon sleeves.
And a Calvin Klein rose-printed bra top.
Again, like the others she hasn’t specifically stated she’s seeing anyone but she’s shared a few photos with Barnabé White (yung_barns on Instagram), one of which he re-shared and captioned with a black heart emoji.
Isabella Blake Thomas
Isabella Blake Thomas plays Princess January, the final second-born royal heroine in the supergroup. But, outside of the show, Thomas has her own solo music career.
We’re not sure who she’s dating—if at all—but we are a total fan of her friendship with co-star Olivia Deeble.
Faly Rakotohavana
Faly Rakotohavana plays Prince Matteo, the awkward second-born royal who in the trailer claims he has a doctor’s note that says he can’t do hero training.
Outside of the show, the 17-year-old loves his friends and family and his natural curls, and knows how to pull off a selfie or two.
On 24th of June, Secret Society: Second-Born Royals co-star Elizabeth Peyton-Lee took this photo of him in… some sort of orange bath? We’re not sure what to make of it but it could suggest the two have a connection.
Ashley Liao
Ashley Liao plays Sam’s perfect older sister and heir to the throne, Eleanor. And her instagram is nothing short of royal beauty.
I mean, just look at these photos she posted. She’s practically glowing and giving us total beauty goals.
It’s unclear whether Liao is dating right now but she loves her bestie and Always Be My Maybe co-star Miya Cech.
Noah Lomax
In Secret Society: Second-Born Royals, Noah Lomax plays Sam’s bandmate and best friend Mike.
And this super cute pic of him and his co-star bestie Peyton Elizabeth-Lee has us totally shipping them. Facts are facts, they look adorable together.
Skylar Astin
Pitch Perfect’s and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Skylar Astin plays the class of second-born royals’ teacher, Professor Morrow.
It’s unclear who the Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist actor is dating, but, according to US Magazine, he was married to Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp until last year.
For now, he may just be too busy spending time with his neighbouring squirrel pals. No, we’re not joking.
