A second man has been arrested in relation to rapper Mac Miller’s death after Lake Havasu City Police Department conducted a search of the Arizona man’s home.
A police spokesperson told Havasu News that the home of 36-year-old Ryan Reavis contained physician’s prescription pad, prescription pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as a 9mm pistol, two shotguns, ammunition and a homemade firearm suppressor.
It is unclear how Mr Reavis is connected to Mac Miller’s passing.

According to Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, the man was arrested on charges of, “fraudulent schemes and artifices, possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons misconduct by a prohibited possessor, and manufacture of a prohibited weapon.”
PEOPLE magazine have reported Mr Reavis is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond at the Mohave County Sherriff’s office.
The arrest comes just weeks after 23-year-old Cameron James Pettit was arrested in connection with the death of Mac Miller – with prosecutors accusing him of supplying the musician with counterfeit drugs only two days before his overdose death.
Mr Pettit was arrested on Septemeber 4th and charged with supplying Mac Miller with oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl.
A criminal complaint revealed that James Pettit provided McCormick with oxycodone, cocaine and the sedative Xanax on September 5, 2018.
Only two days later, on September 7, 2018, Mac Miller was found dead in his Los Angeles home, with Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner ruling his death as a fatal overdose from fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.
For those who don’t know, Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid which has 50 times more the potency than, heroin and 100 times more than morphine.
Special agents from the DEA Fusion Task Force arrested the alleged dealer, releasing the following statement.
“While the death of any victim of the opioid epidemic is tragic, today’s arrest is another success for the DEA’s HIDTA Fusion Task Force.
“Let our message be clear, if you peddle illegal drugs and kill someone, the DEA will be the voice of the victim. We will not rest until you face the justice system.”
According to the NYC Department of Health, opioid overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the United States.
Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Mac Miller (real name Malcolm McCormick) died at 26 years of age after an accidental drug overdose.
Following Mac Miller’s death in 2018, his family released a statement thanking everyone for their support and “prayers”.
“Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” they said in a statement provided to multiple outlets.
“He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.”
