Now that the internet has had time to analyse, there is an important moment regarding Sansa Stark and her hair that has fans of the show worried.

In the episode, Sansa publicly challenged Jon, her brother, asserting herself as someone powerful.

She let Jon know that although he knows what he’s doing war-wise, she knows Cersei on a personal level, meaning she could be of great use to help win the war against the Lannister’s.

“You’re the military man, but I know her,” she tells him.

“If you’re her enemy, she’ll never stop until she’s destroyed you. Everyone who’s ever crossed her she’s found a way to murder.”

.

But it was Jon’s response of, “You almost sound as if you admire her” that got fans thinking. Sansa replied, “I learned a great deal from her.”

The Huffington Post then noticed a direct similarity between Sansa’s hair, and Cersei’s from earlier seasons.

It’s almost as if she was paying tribute to Cersei.

Sophie Turner has even admitted that the character’s hairstyles are never random, so it must mean something.

“Sansa’s hair is constantly reflecting the people she’s learning from, or mimicking, or inspired by at the time,” she explained in an interview. “When she’s Cersei’s prisoner, and she’s kind of absorbing all her manipulative techniques, it’s reflected in her hairstyle, and when she’s finding the spirit of Margaery in herself, she wears her hair like Margaery.”

We’re all about Sansa becoming a stronger, more powerful woman, but PLEASE don’t let her become like Cersei…
