Riverdale season four pics are here fam and the CW has given us A LOT of hints as to what we can expect for the next season.

Following season three’s ambiguous end (we have. so. many. questions.) season four is bound to kick off with a bang as our faves Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) prepare for another year fighting crime and solving mysteries, you know, the usual.

The three photos released by the CW are from the first episode “In Memoriam”, which will be a tribute to the late Luke Perry (who played Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews).

In one of the piccies, Archie’s mum (Molly Ringwald) is seen crying while hugging Archie.

We have a feeling ep 1 is going to hit us right in the feels.

So far, we don’t know how the show will address Fred’s death, but it seems the first episode will be an emotional tribute to Luke Perry, and we are on board.

In one of the more shocking reveals, it appears Josie McCoy is back in Riverdale after leaving last season to appear on rival CW show/spinoff, Katy Keane.

In all probability, Josie’s return will only be for the first episode so that she can pay her respects to the Andrews family.

Our future boyfriend KJ Apa has previously opened up about the first ep, revealing what we already knew – the season premiere it is going to be hella emotional.

“Everything in that first episode is so authentic and so real that it didn’t really feel like shooting an episode of our show,” Apa told Extra.

“It was obviously really emotional. It’s a beautiful episode; we still have a lot to shoot for it.”

TBH, Riverdale kinda lost its way in season two and three, but we have a feeling season four is going to be one of our favourites.
