Stars on The CW series are often required to work super long hours and shooting usually doesn’t finish ’til the early hours of the morning.

The network does not provide transportation for the cast and crew after working crazy hours and they are required to find their own way home as per Warner Bros TV’ policy.

Cole Sprouse is reportedly very involved in the protest as he is “a leader of sorts of the actors on the show,” a set insider told THR

In the past, Sprouse has asked for the network to provide transport for actors travelling home after long hours but they have not budged.

When asked about the sitch, The CW declined to comment, but an insider revealed that the stars are often told they can call a taxi or stay in a hotel under the network’s expense if they feel unfit to drive.

A meeting between representatives for Riverdale‘s actors and Warner Bros. executives will take place within the next few days to determine an outcome.
