We’re soooo close to Riverdale season two, however spoilers are still lighting up the interwebs.
However most are just speculation on what fans think will happen… but this one came from @CW_Riverdale themselves.
The last we saw of Riverdale, Archie’s dad Fred Andrews was shot at Pop’s diner.
The show ended on a cliffhanger, so we don’t know if Fred died or not… and although we have now had two trailers for season 2, they haven’t given much away about his fate.
Now, however, the official Twitter account tweeted a video of Luke Perry (Fred) talking about his role on the show, with the caption, “There’s a special bond between father and son. See Luke Perry in #Riverdale, returning October 11 on The CW.”
Fans took it as a confirmation that Fred is alive.
Of course, it could always mean that Fred is alive for the time being, in hospital… or maybe he will be appearing in the season as flashbacks?!
We guess we’ll find out very shortly!
