When rumours surfaced that Andrew Garfield and Rita Ora were dating, we were caught completely off guard. Beyond being British and famous, we didn’t know if the stars had anything else common, and frankly, questioned how the pair even met!
According to The Sun, the Ora and Garfield have been casually seeing one another and it’s still relatively new. However, a source claimed, “Rita let slip to pals about her brewing romance about a month ago. But in recent days, things have started to heat up and she says what they have is the real deal. It is still very early days but they like each other and are seeing what happens.”
Rita has now expertly dodged a question about her rumoured new romance while making a press appearance on Thursday in New York City.
Appearing on The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM, Ora was asked: “Did you prefer Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man?”
Rita couldn’t stop laughing and replied, “You’re making me wake up this morning,” adding, “I don’t watch Spider-Man, that’s my answer.”
Garfield and Ora first sparked romance rumours in November 2018, when an insider told The Sun of the blossoming relationship. Neither has confirmed the romance.
Previously, Ora was romantically linked to music producer Andrew Watt and the pair dated for 13 months before splitting last October. On the other hand, Andrew Garfield was seen earlier this year having dinner with his former flame Emma Stone according to The Sun. The couple previously dated for four years.
