PewDiePie SLAMS YouTube for releasing Logan Paul’s new movie

"You just look like an idiot."

The biggest consequence Logan Paul faced from YouTube after posting the suicide forest video, was being temporarily removed by the platform and Google Preferred.

It lost him a lot of money, but only 3 weeks later and the suspension was lifted…

Basically, Logan Paul got off very easily, and if anything, is even more famous now, and fellow controversial YouTuber PewDiePie (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) is pissed.

Mainly because YouTube has decided to run Logan’ movie, The Thinning: New World Order, which was initially on hold for 10 months following the controversy.

For PewDiePie, his Premium series Scare PewDiePie 2 was taken off Google Preferred after he made an anti-semetic joke in a video.

“I was asleep when they canceled my show,” he says in a recent video. “They canceled it just as the news broke. There was no question about it. It took no hesitation on that one.”

He continued, “It’s kind of amazing how a billion-dollar company can be so inept at leadership. If you want to be taken seriously, you need to apply the same rules for everyone. You can’t just nitpick whatever you want. Then, you just look like an idiot and people will be upset.”

YouTube told The Verge that they decided to release Logan’s movie in fairness to the cast and crew who worked hard on it, which evidently, PewDiePie agrees with.

“Despite me clearly not liking [Logan], I said I didn’t think his show should be canceled,” he explains. “I meant that. Punish Logan for what he did. Punish me for my mistakes. But to punish everyone involved on this project—these projects are so massive — it just doesn’t make sense. It’s not fair.”
