"Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass."

Saturday Night Live is back, and series regular Pete Davidson has just made waves by dragging the hell out of Kanye West.

During his Weekend Update segment, Pete said that Kanye’s unplanned monologue supporting president Donald Trump at the end of last week’s SNL episode was “one of the worst, like, most awkward things I’ve ever heard, and I’ve seen Chevy Chase speak to an intern.”

During Kanye’s monologue, he said that the SNL cast members and crew tried to bully him not to wear his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, which Pete then denied. “He wore it all week, like, nobody told him not to wear it.”

“I wish I bullied you,” Pete continued. “I wish I suggested that, you know, it might upset some people, like, your wife or every black person ever. You know?”

Yikes.

He then addressed how Kanye is off his meds, saying, “Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass, okay?”

Pete finished the segment with by putting on a MAGA had that read, ‘Make Kanye 2006 Again.’
