Penn Badgley just (accidentally) confirmed that You season 3 is a go-ahead…so we can thank the TV gods for allowing our murderous friend Joe Goldberg to survive the Netflix purge!

While chatting with Entertainment Tonight to discuss the second season of You, the topic turned to Victoria Pedretti‘s character and what her inclusion in the second season means for the future of You and Joe.
We won’t include everything that Penn said (because, you know, spoilers) but we will bring your attention to this major OOPS moment: “Dare I say, I think in the third season,” the Gossip Girl star then stopped, catching himself, before letting out a sigh and saying, “Oh, god.”
After accidently confirming a season three, Penn insisted he had no idea what the storyline will be.
“I literally know nothing about the third season.”
Trying to make uo for his little slip up, Penn insisted that he can’t ‘officially’ confrim anything: “I’m not the person that can say anything official.”
It seems that we will definitely be seeing Joe get his creep on in 2021!
