Nina Dobrev hasn’t forgotten her roots. The former actress from the CW’s much-loved series The Vampire Diaries has recently responded to the eternal question: Damon or Stefan.
For those who missed it, The Vampire Diaries was a classic take on the ol’ love triangle romance. Dobrev’s character Elena navigates high school and choosing between the vampire brothers, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley).
After eight seasons (and a spin-off show called The Originals) we know that ultimately Damon and Elena end up together. However, that didn’t stop E! posing the question to Dobrev.
In an Instagram post featuring actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley drinking together by a fire, the account posed the question: “POV: You’re Elena on #TheVampireDiaries. Who are you choosing?” The account then tagged Dobrev, “Hey @nina…quick q.”
Dobrev responded hilariously, writing, “@enews the bourbon 🥃😉.” Well that settles it!
