Netflix have confirmed that their batsh*t crazy series Insatiable will be returning for a second season in 2019.
The satire series ended on a huge cliffhanger in season one, with Patty killing two people – her stalker ex-boyfriend and Stella Rose. So, we’re guessing that season two will deal with the fallout of the murders.
Insatiable follows teenage girl Patty, played by Debby Ryan, who has been bullied for years due to her weight. When Patty suddenly becomes thin and pretty, she decides to seek her revenge on anyone who wronged her in the past.
When the trailer dropped in July this year, critics called out the series for fat shaming and violence.
Debby addressed the backlash when the first trailer for the series dropped in July this year.
“I was so excited to work on Insatiable because it’s a show that addresses and confronts those ideas through satire,” she wrote on Instagram.
There’s no release date for season two as of yet, but it will be sometime next year!
