Netflix holds some of the most amazing content, including animation titles, fantastic dramas and everything else in between.
But one of the most special parts of Netflix is its original content.
To commemorate their fantastic original content, Netflix has given themselves a little makeover.
“SOME PERSONAL NEWS” they wrote on on Twitter. “Starting today there’s a new logo animation before our originals. It shows the spectrum of stories, languages, fans, & creators that make Netflix beautiful — now on a velvety background to better set the mood.”

And before you ask: no, the sound isn’t changing pic.twitter.com/itwYXRe6ZF
Stunning!
The normal ‘N’ has been transformed into bars of colour, and the special effect replicates how movie studios have their own animation before features.
It represents how Netflix is moving away from just streaming other content, to producing their own.
The Verge has revealed that the new logo has been in the works for the past two years, and how it actually came from the idea of turning all the originals’ thumbnails into a graphic.

give your graphic designer a raise this is so beauthfully made; smooth transition, perfectly synced with sound and the message the amount of strips and colors send is uplifting and encouraging us to be more open to diversity of any kind.
