In the lead up to the new single dropping, Miley posted numerous shots on her Instagram page preparing everyone for the accompanying video – which many fans now believe to be filled with some major shade towards ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

According to the wider internet, the song title itself is a dig at Liam, as Liam’s nickname for his former wife was ‘angel’.

The title being one big dig at Liam can be picked apart fairly easily, as the song’s title was announced well before Miley and Liam headed for splitsville. It is also the song for the new Charlie’s Angels movie, so the idea that it was all based around Miley’s romantic history is a bit far fetched.

Aside from the title, there does seem to be one obviously shady moment in the video clip, and that’s when Miley beats up a guy who looks VERY similar to Liam Hemsworth.
