EXCLUSIVE: Hayley and Michael get too close night of alleged affair
Not only has Mikey Pembroke admitted that he and Stacey Hampton slept together, but now we’re seeing where everything broke down and started that affair.
Michael Goonan, Stacey’s TV husband, hooked up with Hayley Vernon.
In an interview with TV Week, Michael confirmed that he did share a kiss with Hayley after a drunken night out, but he says that they were “just mucking around”.
“We were all joking and having a laugh. We were mucking around with the phone and were like, ‘Oh how funny would it be if this got out?'” he said of the hookup.
“We were fully clothed, just being stupid, being loose, having fun, not really understanding the implications of what rumours can do to your life,” said Michael who initially denied that he kissed Hayley.
“We’d had a few drinks,” he said, with fellow groom Jonethen later saying that Michael was playing the drunk card, claiming he couldn’t remember if a kiss happened or not.
“It got to the point where I was like, ‘Did I kiss her? Didn’t I kiss her?'”
“I swear on my life Hayley and Michael hooked up,” Vanessa told New Idea. “It definitely happened.”
“They were fooling around on the bed and dry humping. Shoes were flying everywhere,” she added.
Vanessa, who previously dated 2019 MAFS star Bronson Norrish, said it happened in her and Chris’ hotel room.
“Michael walked into our room. He was really drunk and so was Hayley,” Vanessa said. “Hayley said, ‘my husband (David) doesn’t want to f–k me’. And I said, ‘mine doesn’t either’. [Michael] turned around and said, ‘I would f–k both of you’.”
“The morning David found out Michael had hooked up with his wife Hayley the night before, he was absolutely ropeable and he went and confronted him about it,” another source told New Idea. “David is a huge guy, he’s twice the size of Michael and he’s a professional boxer, too – he’s not someone you would want to have an argument with.”
