Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon was pitted as the ‘bad guy’ in the affair she had with Michael Goonan, which unfolded during last night’s dinner party episode.

However, fans were left frustrated that Michael basically got off scot-free with wife Stacey, as she turned her anger toward a ‘home-wrecking’ Hayley.
A dumbfounded Hayley has now revealed that she was completely stunned with how Stacey acted at the dinner party, as they previously had a plan with fellow bride Vanessa Romito to all confront Michael… especially after she found out that Michael wanted to turn it all on the witness of the kiss, Vanessa.
“Michael wanted to gaslight Vanessa and say she was crazy,” Hayley told Mamamia. “Vanessa was the only girl I could trust in the experiment but for a split second I was going along with Michael but [I couldn’t] do this to a girl who’s had my back,” she says.
“Vanessa called up Stacey and we came together and said that we were going to pull Michael up on his bullsh*t because he had been denying it.
“Our plan was to go into the dinner party and Vanessa was going to say: ‘You know what Michael? Hayley told me the truth’. Instead of that happening, Stacey stood up and [accused me of] lying.”
“In the real world, if this had happened, Michael would be getting a 50 per cent amount of the blame,” Hayley continued.
“The thing you’ve got to understand is that at this point, I was kind of on the outer. I had always spoken the truth and sometimes the truth doesn’t resonate with other people, you know what I mean?”
But the juiciest part is yet to come. According to Mikey himself, he and Stacey slept together. There have been leaked text messages that allude to it as well. But Stacey has remained adamant that she did not touch Mikey.
“It turns out during the break, Stacey actually sleeps with Mikey Pembroke and Mikey calls me during the break and goes, ‘I feel so bad for you that you’ve been vilified and I’m actually flying back from Italy,’” Hayley added.
“Production actually paid for him to fly back from Italy to attend the reunion so he could confront Stacey.”
Stacey spoke to KIIS FM’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show denying that she ever slept with Mikey.
“Mikey looks like my son, there’s no way,” Stacey told the radio hosts. “He is not my type. What happened was I was in Adelaide when he hooked up with Hayley and no one told me what was going on and I was all alone.
“So Mikey reached out to me and asked to get coffee because he wanted to tell me what Michael was saying about me all night. It was nothing more than that,” she insisted.
Mikey told News.com.au the complete opposite. “I can confirm we did have sex, but it was clearly after Natasha and I had agreed with producers that our relationship was over, and Natasha knew we weren’t together,” he said. “I actually didn’t want this (story) out as it’s not the best way to end my time on the show, but it did happen.”
We guess we’re just going to have to wait for the reunion!
