Newly revived Lucifer has received a double whammy. It has been cancelled yet again!
The Netflix series was originally canned by FOX back in before it was picked up by the streaming service for a fourth season.

There is some good news though as the series has been given the green light for a fifth and final season.
The Netflix series which tells the story of a fallen angel named Lucifer who works with the LAPD to take down Earth’s criminals was originally canned by FOX back in May, 2018 before it was picked up by Netflix for a fourth season.
There is some good news though Lucifer fans as the series has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
Showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich released an official statement over the news:
“We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms, most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!”
