Monday’s episode of Love Island saw the Villa at each other’s throats, but one sour comment left by Eden has left viewers in anger.
Erin and Eden supporters have even turned against the couple after the shock comment was made.
It all went down when the remaining couples had to choose between Australia’s lowest-rated couples, Mac and Teddy and Millie and Mark.
Tayla and Grant, along with Josh and Amelia voted to dump Mac and Teddy off the island citing that they are only friends while Dom and Shelby supported Erin and Eden to dump Millie and Mark.
Unable to reach a decision and after a furious debate, Mac and Teddy decided to peacefully bow out of the series to honour the love connection between Millie and Mark.
As Mac exited the Villa, fired-up Eden made the confident remark: ‘Now watch me win’.
Avid viewers of the show took to Twitter to express their disgust over the remark.
Some fans are now convinced that Eden is simply in it for the money and ‘playing the game’ with many believing he will take the money for himself and ditch Erin.
Adding fuel to the fire, it was previously revealed that Eden may have a secret girlfriend on the outside during a game of ‘fake or real news’ in which contestants had to distinguish between real and false media headlines about themselves.
Love Island continues tonight at 8:30pm on 9Go! with the winning couple of the series set to be crowned on Thursday, July 5.
