Australian cricketer Shane Warne wants to be the host of Love Island and honestly WOT?
The former I’m A Celebrity contestant is keen to sign on for a role with the show, which would see him rival The Bachelor’s Osher Günsberg for the title of Australia’s favourite dating show host.
During an interview with Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa this morning, Michael Clarke claimed his pal Warnie was up for it.
“Do you think there’s a chance Shane Warne could be the next Bachelor?” Fitzy asked him.
“No chance … but there’s another show he’s been bragging on about. Love Island,” Clarke replied. “He wants to host it … I said: ‘Host it? You wanna go on it!'”
While there’s a high chance this is just some running joke between the pair, I’d be very keen to watch if Warnie was hosting.
Between the impossibly perfect white teeth and voluminous hair to rival Osher, and his knack for relationship drama, the show would be a surefire hit!
