Hilary Duff has spoken in a new interview with Fox News, confirming that the Lizzie McGuire reboot isn’t just an idea anymore. It’s in its early stages!
“It’s in very new stages,” she said. “There’s been a lot of creative talk.”
Hilary had previously told ET that though there had been talk of remaking it, but there were no solid plans for it.
But now, it’s all happening.
“I think the timing hasn’t been right,” she told Fox. “I’m excited at the prospect of it. [Lizzie McGuire] was important to so many people, including me, if she can be important again to girls in this stage of their lives, I think that would be amazing.”
