Liam Payne just released the music video for “Bedroom Floor”, a song that his close pal Charlie Puth helped write.
So when he cast his controversial ex-girlfriend Bella Thorne in the video, everyone was confused.
The Bella and Charlie drama began when she hooked up with him in public while supposedly still being with her ex, Tyler Posey. Charlie went on to write the song “Attention” about her, even starring a Bella lookalike in the video.
The interesting thing about “Bedroom Floor” is that Liam has previously admitted that the song is about a rough patch in he and Cheryl Cole‘s relationship, making it all the more suss as to why he would include Bella in the music video.
Especially after he and Charlie have been so vocal about their close friendship.
“When I go to Charlie’s house, Charlie fills me in,” Liam revealed. “Me and Charlie get on really well and I feel like he always wants to chat to me about stuff. Maybe I’m a bit of a life coach, got a bit of wisdom for him. I can’t reveal his secrets!”
Fans are really confused as to why Liam would use Bella in his film clip if she was such a sore point for his friend, and co-writer of the song.
Was it just for publicity??
It’s very possible that Charlie and Bella have resolved things in private, however it’s all still very strange.
