The way “Legally Blonde” was supposed to end will blow your mind

Thank god this didn't happen.

We all know the movie Legally Blonde, and if you don’t… then get the hell out of here and watch it now.

The movie is incredibly satisfying, especially the end… where Elle gives her speech to the Harvard graduating class. During her speech, we see what everyone is up to. Like how Warner is utterly alone (lol).

Well… the original ending was TOTALLY different.

Co-writer Karen McCullah spoke to Entertainment Weekly, revealing that instead of that graduation scene, the movie “originally ended at the courthouse right after the trial. Everyone was congratulating Elle, and Emmet came up and gave her a big kiss.

“Then there was a tag where it was a year in the future and she and Vivian, who was now blonde, had started the Blonde Legal Defense Fund and they were in the quad handing out pamphlets.”

Oh god no.

People didn’t like it, and we can’t imagine why.

“The test-screening audience didn’t feel like it was an exciting enough ending or her, success-wise.

“The kiss made it seem like it was a rom-com. They knew that this was not a movie about a girl getting a guy.”

Nope, just a girl kicking ass. Which we’d much prefer.

The best part is that the one thing they were always going to keep (and did keep), was Elle telling Warner to F off.
