Kylie Jenner‘s low-key baby shower was held on Sunday, following her big sister Kim Kardashian West‘s extravagant affair the day before. While People reported that the young star threw herself the shower, new reports from The Sun claim that it was all done for show… literally.
The publication claims that Kris Jenner organised the event, and planned the ‘pyjama party’ theme and casual outdoor setting as they would work best for the family show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. According to them, Kylie hated the big event because it wasn’t planned to her own tastes.
“Kim got the VIP treatment for her baby shower, it was naturally an out of this world, no expenses spared celeb packed event with Kim as the star of the show. Kylie’s by contrast took place a day later and was much more low key,” the source said.
“Firstly Kylie had to do hers, as part of the TV show — Kylie had her own ideas, she wanted to do a very young, hip and LA type baby shower in a cool club with all of her friends there, and the opposite of Kim and Khloe’s plans. But she had do it on a certain date for TV scheduling purposes (so they can show the episode before the baby is born) — but after Kim.”
“It was a pyjama party in the garden, with all of her friends, organised by the TV producers and her mom Kris,” the source said.
While we don’t know how true these reports are, it is fun for fans to see how the big pregnancy reveal is unfolding. After all, Kylie is yet to confirm the reports that she is expecting her first child with Travis Scott.
Perhaps it will be a magazine cover, or a Beyoncé style viral photoshoot? Only time (and future KUWTK episodes) will tell.
