In case you missed, the eight and final season of Game Of Thrones is dropping on HBO come April 15th, 2019. The cast (frankly, just the Starks – not that we’re pointing fingers) namely, Kit Harrington, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams have been dropping hints about how the show will end.
While fans have been trying to piece together clues since the season seven finale aired in April 2017, there are some people who actually know the fate of Jon Snow. One of the lucky few is Harrington’s wife Rose Leslie who was his on-screen love in the earlier seasons of the fantasy drama.
What’s more? She’s known since filming wrapped in December last year.
“I told my wife last year how it ended and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days,” Harington told UK radio station KISS FM.
And in true GoT fashion, the 32-year-old gave the most cryptic explanation imaginable when discussing whether he was satisfied with the ending. “I can’t really answer whether I’m happy or not,” he said. “I don’t think it’s about happy or sad, really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it.”
John Snow’s on-screen sister Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) revealed that she’s already ruined the ending for her best friends. During an interview with W, she admitted: “I’m so bad at keeping secrets.
“I don’t think people tell me things anymore because they know that I can’t keep them. I’ve already told the ending of Game of Thrones to a few people.”
“I was like, ‘Hey if you want to know, I’ll tell you.’ But it’s people that I know, not random people. Its people that I know will keep the secret.”
