One again, Kim Kardashian West has come under fire for posting a seemingly innocent snap of her and her six-year-old daughter North West pinky swearing that they’ll be “besties for life”. Although at first glance the photo seems quite harmless, a number of parents bashed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for allowing her eldest daughter to wear a large pair of hoop earrings.
Like always, the mum-shamers were, ahem, rather harsh and didn’t hold back from making their opinion heard!
“Kim dress your kid according to her age. This is sooo not ok. Hoops seriously?” another added.

“So cute but my daughter WOULD NEVER be wearing those big hoop earring at such a young age… Come on mama keep your baby girl humble. Some beautiful diamond studs fit so much better on a young girl,” another chimed in.
Although the majority of the comments about her hoops were negative, a few brave users defended the KKW Beauty founder, telling everyone to mind their own business!
“People hate so much that North is wearing hoops. Like are you the mother? No. Let Kim decide what she can and can’t wear,” she wrote. “North is her daughter anyway. She looks super cute and sassy!”
Another said: “Yall really will come for her regardless of what she does. Like you didn’t play dress-up with earrings when you were little,” said another Instagrammer, rushing to her defence.
Whether you’re vibing the hoops or not, there’s no denying the mum-of-four has been embroiled in her fair share of scandals! Just last week, the Internet lost its cool when Kim posted a promo shot from her fragrance campaign with her sister Kylie Jenner. While at first glance the photo seemed relatively normal— aside from their super extra outfits—fans were quick to notice that Kimmy had a mystery sixth pinkie toe. As expected, thousands of comments flooded in, slamming the makeup mogul for the blunder. Even celebrity blogger Perez Hilton weighed in, writing: “That sixth toe is iconic.”
“6 toes?” one user wrote.

After being caught in what appeared to be an awkward photoshop scandal, a representative for the KUWTK star denied it was a dodgy editing job, revealin it was actually an “optical illusion” thanks to the sideways angle of her foot.
