The entire Kardashian/Jenner clan has been very vocal in raising awareness for Australian bushfire relief, having shared information on what charities to donate to consistently over the last few days as Hollywood catches up with the crisis.

However, not everyone was too pleased with Kim Kardashian weighing in on Australia’s national crisis, with one fan writing on Twitter Sunday night:
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires & not donate even a penny.”
The fan then tagged Kim, as well as sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
Well fam, Kim was NOT HERE FOR IT.
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything,” Kardashian West tweeted back.
Kim didn’t disclose the amount her and her sisters gave (and TBH, she doesn’t have to) but people shouldn’t criticise a family for spreading awareness that have a combined social media following of almost 620 million people – on Instagram alone.
Khloe, Kim and Kylie have also all posted links to charities such as WIRES and the RFS multiple times.
Ecologists from the University of Sydney believe that almost half a billion total mammals, birds and reptiles have died since the fires began in September, with the current death toll of human life at at least 23.
If you would like to help with the Australian bushfire relief, you can donate to one of these charities:
– Victoria Country Fire Authority
– Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund
– Support for firefighter families
– Port Macquarie Koala Hospital
