The Bachelor In Paradise‘s Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate confirmed their split on Sunday, August 26th, announcing the sad news via social media. “It is with a very sad heart but I have to let you all know that Jarrod and I have split up,” Kiera wrote.
“I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed or if I have let anyone down,” Maguire continued. “Please respect our privacy as this is a very hard time for me.”
The 32-year-old, who had her lip fillers dissolved back in April, hinted at the reason the reality couple called it quits in the post’s comment section. One fan wrote, “I’m sorry this has happened. I thought you two were good for each and brought out the best in [each] other. However, he was more interested in finding true love than becoming part of a power insta couple.”
To which Maguire, replied, “Yeah, that’s what I [thought] too.” Keira quickly deleted the response twenty minutes lately, according to the Daily Mail.
Keira previously revealed there were some trying times after she and Jarrod left paradise that almost derailed their fairytale romance.
“We did struggle, and we did have a few blow outs over the show,” she tells Cosmopolitan back in May. “It definitely wasn’t easy and we’re not going to deny it. Our relationship did struggle a little bit, but we’re stronger than ever now.”
“I don’t think people understand how hard it is. Not only do you have to watch it back, but you have to relive it. It creates this really negative environment, which really isn’t healthy. And then you’ve got to then relay and talk about it in interviews.”
