I’ve come to inform you that Miley Cyrus has not only moved on (and in) with Kaitlynn Carter, but she’s also met the singer’s ENTIRE family.
Yesterday afternoon, Miley— who’s refusing to give back her 3.5-carat yellow solitaire engagement ring— and Kaitlynn were spotted grabbing lunch in Los Angeles with the singer’s mother, Trish Cyrus. The trio— which, by the way, we are SO here for—were all smiles, with an onlooker claiming they “seemed to have fun” as they spent the afternoon together.
Their adorable date comes days after reports surfaced claiming Kaitlynn— who starred in The Hills: New Beginnings alongside her now ex-husband Brody Jenner— has moved into Miley’s Malibu mansion.

“They live together and are very happy,” a source close to the “Wrecking Ball” singer told PEOPLE. “Miley is doing great. She is moving on. She seems to have no regrets. She loves being with Kaitlynn.”
Although this may come as a shock to some, Kaitlynn has been hinting she’s working on their new love nest. Last week, the reality TV star posted a photo to Instagram which showed her redecorating someone’s home (definitely Miley’s). She captioned the post: “Having so much fun decorating this place… Obsessed with the white frame on this art TV.”
The duo all but confirmed they were officially an item when they were spotted kissing and cuddling backstage before Miley performed her latest breakup anthem, “Slide Away”, at the awards show. After she belted out the smash hit— which details her bitter split from Liam Hemsworth— she was photographed walking hand in hand with Kaitlynn while on their way to an afterparty at the Up and Down nightclub in New York City.
An onlooker told Page Six that Miley and Kaitlynn “couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” adding, “there’s no question they’re together.”

This isn’t the only time Miley and Kaitlynn have packed on the PDA. Last week, WHO reported that the pair was recently spotted “basically having sex” on the floor, in the bathroom and, of course, on top of the bar at Soho House in West Hollywood.
“They were obsessed with each other,” said the spy who was analysing their every move. “They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They were kissing and making out everywhere. In the bathroom, at the bar, in the middle of the floor. They were basically having sex. There’s no question they’re together.”
Less than a month after Brody and Kaitlynn announced they were separating, she was spotted locking lips with the pop star while on a girls’ trip in Italy. Since news of Miley and Liam’s split broke the internet, the Australian actor has filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup. Upon hearing the news her husband of less than a year had officially moved on from their relationship, the “Mother’s Daughter” singer “was shocked”.
“She didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well,” a source told PEOPLE. “What she and Liam had for a long time was very special. It’s just hard for her to think that she will never have this again with Liam. There are really so many things that she loves about him.”
Miley has since opened up about the breakdown of their decade long relationship, refuting claims infidelity spelled the end of their marriage. Instead, she says she called time on their romance after realising it was “time to leave a previous life behind”.
“I can accept that the life I’ve chosen means I must live completely open and transparent with my fans who I love, and the public, 100% of the time. What I cannot accept is being told I’m lying to cover up a crime I haven’t committed. I have nothing to hide.”
She continued: “But the truth is, once Liam & I reconciled, I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here. I’ve learned from every experience in my life. I’m not perfect, I don’t want to be, it’s boring. I’ve grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP. I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”
According to TMZ, sources on the pop star’s side say Miley desperately tried to save their seven-month-long marriage, however, Liam’s alleged “drinking” and “drug use” spelled the end of their decade long relationship. The source also added that Miley wasn’t accepting of Liam’s alleged party antics, especially since she’s “struggled with substance abuse in the past”.
Since these shocking accusations emerged a source close to The Hunger Games actor has hit back, claiming Miley’s friends are intentionally using this as a coverup so the attention is taken away from supposed “infidelity” on the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s behalf.
“This is another attempt by Miley to distract from her infidelity and recent outrageous public behaviour,” the insider said.
