It’s finally here guys… the Riverdale season 2 finale has just been aired in certain countries and we.can’t.breathe.
If you remember from the semi-final last week, the biggest question left hanging in the air was ‘IS JUGHEAD F***ING DEAD?’
It was very stressful, after Juggy sacrificed himself to the Ghoulies and Penny Peabody, in order to save the Serpents.
It didn’t help that Cole Sprouse tweeted his thanks to the show, making all fans believe he was definitely gone.
BUT WE’RE LIKE, 99% SURE HE’S ALIVE!
We haven’t been able to see the episode yet, but from what we’re picking up on social media… he’s okay.
Firstly, there are 0 tweets freaking out that Jughead is dead, so that’s our first clue, and secondly, there are leaked pics from the episode that show Jughead (extremely beaten up), putting a red Serpent jacket on Cheryl.
SO MUCH YES!
Cole has also deleted his tweet about thanking the show, so we can confirm that he was 100% trolling us all.
What else happens in the ep? Well, The Hollywood Reporter has written that Hiram Lodge has framed Archie for murder. MURDER. We bloody saw this coming didn’t we?
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa sat down with THR to unwrap wtf went down in the episode, where they also explore Betty’s darkness yet again, as she visits her murderous father in jail.
