Everyonw knows The Jerry Springer Show. Especially on those days when you’d chuck a sickie from school (and internet wasn’t really a thing).
There was nothing more thrilling than watching things completely kick off on the show, especially before you found out it was mostly acting.
So it’s a sad day when you hear that the show of 27 years is officially being cancelled.
The show, which began in 1991, has had over 4,000 episodes, and an uncountable amount of D R A M A T I C moments.
There’s been everything from a man marrying a horse, to a sex worker who lost her dentures!
For the entire 27 years, former politician Jerry Springer hosted the show.
“I just do it because it’s fun to do,” he told ET in 2016. “And I’m not that good at golf.”
Lol.
He continued: “I think I’d go crazy [if I retired]. I’m always afraid not to be working. It’s psychological, I’m sure.
“If I ever have nightmares about something, it’s about not having a job, which is crazy, I know.”
RIP to one of the most iconic televison shows of all time!
