Do we all remember a mere few months ago when beauty YouTuber Jaclyn Hill was dragged to hell and back when customers found hairs and bumps in her lipsticks?

Well, now a video has surfaced of a consumer pulling a hair out Jeffree Star’s Conspiracy Palette and it is kinda gross (oh, and also a potential health violation.)

WATCH: Customer pulls disgusting hair out of Jeffree Star’s eyeshadow palette

For those who skipped past the video above (we don’t blame you) the footage shows a consumer with a pair of tweezers pulling out a long fibre (that looks a lot like a hair).

It’s seriously nasty.

Fans immediately reacted and asked when either Jeffree or Shane Dawson was going to comment on the drama.

Other unimpressed fans asked why Jaclyn Hill copped a lot of hate online, but Jeffree hasn’t been facing any severe backlash.

Meanwhile, some in the beauty community defended the quality of Jeffree and Shane’s Conspiracy palette and claimed that the fibre was not a hair.

Over the weekend, Jeffree broke his silence on the issue, tweeting: “Hey everyone, it’s come to our attention that a few dozen people out of 1.1 million palettes produced have a few ribbon fibers embedded in their products.

“The lab has done a full investigation & we found the issue. I pride myself on quality and fully apologize for this error.”

Jeffree also released the following statement.

The statement continues: “Pressing ribbons are made of 100% cotton, nylon or synthetic polyster fibers that are smooth, soft, inert, nontoxic, lightweight with high resilience.

“For this palette, we used multiple combinations of these pressing ribbons to achieve beauty and performance of the product. Some of these ribbons come in sheet form, while others are cut with scissors to fit specific needs.”

Jeffree then wrote a follow-up tweet saying that: “Moving forward my manufacturer will make sure this never happens again and have put in place several precautions and steps to avoid the ribbon issue.”
