Since making his debut with a new look on The Voice Australia after a five-year hiatus from the spotlight, Jack Vidgen’s drastic transformation— thanks to plastic surgery— has been the subject of countless memes and the bud of some pretty savage jokes. While being ridiculed online would take a toll on most, the 22-year-old has decided to join in on the fun and laugh off the controversy.

Taking to Instagram last night, Jack (who has been been subject cosmetic surgery rumours)— who rose to fame as a 14-year-old after winning Australia’s Got Talent in 2011— posted a series of Twitter memes that morphed his face onto celebrities like Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power (who is no longer BFFs with Martha) and Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars Kim Kardashian mum Kris and sister Kylie Jenner.
“Didn’t know if it was @JackVidgen or Jess from #MAFS,” a social media user captioned the meme of Jack/Jessika. Reposting it to his Instagram story, Jack wrote, “HAHAHAHAHHAH.”
He also shared a meme of which compared him to Kylie Jenner.
“This is all too much,” the iconic Australian commented on the picture of him with the Kylie Skin founder, adding, “Cute weave”.

Another photo showed him morphed with momager Kris.
“OH MY GOD,” the singer captioned the re-post.
His hilarious reaction comes days after he auditioned for The Voice and turned all four of the coaches’ chairs.
“Do you normally get this [crazy] reaction when you do perform?” Boy George asked Jack for the first time. “George he’s like very well known here,” fellow judge Guy Sebastian said, in awe of the beautiful performance.
“I’m just shocked to see you like on stage, I’m so glad to see you and your voice — my gosh,” the reality tv star, which is filmed in Sydney, said.
While the coaches desperately fought to have The Voice’s Jack Vidgen on their team, the reaction to his audition was mixed. While some said his performance was outstanding and praised the former star for returning to the small screen, others questioned whether he deserved a second chance considering he’s already won a talent competition.
“I don’t think he should have been allowed on The Voice. I know it’s been YEARS since he sang and he was young, but if you remember he WON AGT. It’s not like he came 2nd or 3rd. He took home the PRIZE,” one user wrote about his previous reality tv appearance, with another responding, “Yeah! like this is another level of unfair to artists that have potential on the show but he’s already taken the spotlight.”
Despite the backlash, others said they’re excited to see how much The Voice’s Jack Vidgen has grown in the last few years.
“Jack Vidgen is auditioning for The Voice Australia this year some people have a problem with that because he won Australia’s Got Talent years ago but that was then this is now I’m looking forward to hearing how much his singing has improved,” someone Tweeted.
