While Angie and friend Yvie Jones reveal they got paid a pittance for their previous reality tv gig, we can safely assume the new Bachelorette will be earning a decent wage even if the exact number remains a mystery.
The only thing we do know of any of the Australian Bachelor and Bachelorette’s is that Nick Cummins (AKA The Honey Badger) managed to score the highest pay – even higher than previous household name Sophie Monk (who reportedly earnt $300,000).
Brooke Blurton revealed arguably the most hated Bachelor earnt the most pay on the Shameless In Conversation podcast, saying:
“I think it was a bit more, I think it was half mill maybe,” Brooke told the show’s hosts Zara McDonald and Michelle Andrews.
Ooft, not bad.
29-year-old Angie took to social media earlier this year to announce she was the next Bachelorette.
“Well … it’s official – I’m the new Bachelorette!”, Angie wrote on Instagram.
“I’ve always been the gal who loves to make everyone laugh, but now I reckon it’s time to have someone laugh with me, rather than at me.
“My heart is full, and after years of experiencing all life has to offer I finally have enough self-love and I’m open to all of life’s amazing possibilities.
Angie continued: “So, if 20 or so fellas want to get to know me and potentially end up being my partner in life and love – I say “why not?! Who am I to turn down the chance to find love?! Let’s give it a red hot go!” Watch this space –the adventure awaits! #BacheloretteAu”
Let’s hope Channel 10 help Angie find her perfect partner on the Bachelorette Australia because this cutie deserves love!
The Bachelorette starts Wednesday, Septemeber 24.
