The Originals‘ fifth season will take place eight years after season four, meaning Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) daughter Hope will be all grown up, played by 17-year-old Danielle Rose Russell.
According to EW, two new cast members have joined the show, in the form of hot boys for both Hayley and her daugher Hope.
So, prepare yourselves!!!
Torrance Coombs, who has previously starred on Reign will officially play Declan, Hayley’s “friend with benefits”. He has been described as “flirty and roguish Irish chef,” who is “unaware of the supernatural underbelly of New Orleans or that the woman he is involved with is part of an infamous family of vampires.”
*Heavy breathing*
Jedidiah Goodacre, who has starred in The 100 and Descendants will play Roman, a “devilish and charming schoolmate of Hope Mikaelson. Roman is a recently turned vampire who becomes curious about Hope’s family after she’s involved in a mysterious incident at school.”
