While *certain* One Direction members have been all too happy to diss the band (we’re looking at you, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik), Harry Styles has always been super proud of his past.
So the latest Harry rumours have gotten fans all kinds of upset.
Several media outlets have reported that Harry is planning to “erase his history with One Direction” and “shake off his boy band days”.
Apparently any mention of 1D was forcibly removed from the promo for his upcoming hour-long TV spesh, “Harry”.
On the show, Harry is set to “perform tracks from his self-titled No. 1 debut album and chat to Grimshaw about his life, being a solo artist and starting his acting career.”
And there will allegedly be no 1D talk whatsover.
It gets worse!
It’s been reported that the idea to banish 1D from Harry’s past came from Harry, himself.
A source told Page Six: “The path Harry has taken with his music is very different to the type of big pop songs he was performing with One Direction. As a result Harry is keen to get away from his teenybopper days and reinvent himself as a rock star.”
“Despite that, it’s understood that a One Direction segment has been filmed as part of the documentary.”
We’re taking these claims with a sand bag full of sand ‘coz up until now, Harry has done nothing but ~praise~ One Direction and has expressed interest in reuniting one day.
So until Harry personally slams the band, we say he’s 1D AF!
