The Sorting Hat doesn’t get it wrong… or does it? Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter series has betrayed not only Harry, every fan who ever heard about Hogwarts, Dumbledore AND JK Rowling… he’s also betrayed himself. Yes, the die-hard Gryffindor has admitted he’s ALWAYS been a Slytherin at heart.
The horrifying confession came about after a fan asked Devon on Twitter if she should wear Gryffindor or Slytherin robes to the Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo (where Devon is speaking). Sadly SHAME-us replied: “It’s got to be slytherin,” and the world imploded.

Fans were losing it over the news. But one asked if he really was a Slytherin and had been sorted into the house on fan site Pottermore…
Alas, it’s true. And amusingly enough, Pottermore hilariously replied to Devon:
