Just a few days after she made her relationship with Evan Peters red carpet official, Halsey has addressed her breakup with Yungblud in a series of now-deleted Tweets.

“Sometimes. People just breakup,” Halsey tweeted before quickly deleting it, but not before a fan account took a screenshot.
“It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f-ed up,” Halsey’s tweet continued.
“Sometimes. It just happens. Because life Is constantly changing. And adults stay friends and move on.
Well, it really seems like this celeb couple’s breakup was mutual, so if you’re searching for drama you won’t find it here friends.
Halsey and Yungblud met when the Without Me singer slid into Yungblud’s DM’s ~like a boss~ and during their first meeting found they had an instant connection.
“I was sitting at home and…I really wanted to have a real conversation with someone,” Halsey said of their first meeting.
“I just got into an Uber by myself, went downtown, and we just met up…total stranger, I’ve never met him before. It was cool for me because it reminded me of when I was back in New York and making music, and I would do that; I would just link with other artists … and it felt really organic.”
Halsey and Yungblud ended up collaborating on the song 11 minutes together, before breaking up in early September.
Halsey has since moved on with American Horror Story actor Evan Peters, making their red carpet debut FX’s “American Horror Story” 100th Episode Celebration party, on October 26.
While fans were a little shocked at the sudden new romance, they shouldn’t have been all that surprised considering Halsey has been a HUGE American Horror Story fan – and been crushing on Evan – for years. Since 2012, to be exact.
In that same year, the singer tweeted, “Seriously Evan Peters stop making me attracted to alleged sociopaths and accused murderers …”
We’re certain she just watched Murder House when she tweeted that. NOBODY can resist Tate Langdon in that season.
The following year, Halsey launched an actual petition: “petition for Evan Peters to date me.”
Fam… it didn’t end there.
Another year later, she wrote: “I’m a f***ing liar I’m so in love with Evan Peters I’m so whipped I’m whipped as f*** !”
Well, Halsey got her wish and we really have to applaud her dedication to the cause.
