The premiere episode of Australia’s Love Island hit screens last night, and it seems former reality star Georgia Love was not impressed.
At the beginning of the episode of the new reality series, single women were made to wear bikinis and stilettos as they stood in line to be selected by their male co-stars, a scene which former Bachelorette star Georgia found ‘absolutely abhorrent’.
Fellow viewers agreed with Georgia’s view on the new show, hosted by Sophie Monk.
‘I’m a reality show fanatic but I will not be watching Love Island. Thanks for your honest opinion. It justifies the previews. Utter garbage,’ one outraged viewer wrote.
Another added, ‘Channel 9 should be ashamed screening this disgusting show. A new historic low in Australian television.’
But, several other viewers slammed Love’s opinion – claiming it was ‘ironic’ seeing as she had previously appeared on a reality dating show.
