Keeping up with The CW’s hit show Dynasty can be tricky with all the recastings they have been through in the two seasons it has been running.

With the next season coming up to the third Cristal… we’re also going to welcome the new Alexis Carrington. However, unlike the Cristal’s… she will be the same character, portrayed by a new actress.
Formerly, Alexis was playing by the iconic Nicolette Sheridan, however, due to her mother’s sickness, the actress had to leave the show.
For a hot minute, they gave Alexis a new face (after her old one was smashed into the fire pit). While the Carrington matriarch got plastic surgery to look just like her daughter, Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies). However, that didn’t go down too well.
So can we all welcome, the incredible Elaine Hendrix as our new Alexis! Yes – this is Meredith from The Parent Trap!
“Alexis is back in Atlanta, with a new look, a new man, and plenty of scores to settle,” The CW said in a statement, according to TVLine.
Unfortunately, Australia may not get the new season of Dynasty on Netflix until the entire season has aired in America… which is THE WORST NEWS EVER.
Why is this happening?
In the U.S., Netflix signed a deal with The CW that doesn’t allow their shows (that aired their first season before 2019) to go onto the streaming service until eight days after the season finale airs.
Dynasty Season three enters this category.
Previously, their seasons ended in May, so we can expect Season three to have a Netflix release date in May 2020… or at least the first week of June. This is if the season has 22 episodes like the first two.
Before Season three, every country outside of the U.S. had Netflix’s first-run rights, which meant that episodes of shows like Dynasty were to Netflix the day after they first air on The CW.
