We can all agree on one thing about Game of Thrones: that Ed Sheeran cameo BACKFIRED hard in season 7.

Fans weren’t here for it, and because of that, writers gave Ed the most gruesome (off-screen) death which was presented in the season 8 premiere Monday night.
In a scene that was similar to Tyrion’s brothel scene back in the Season 1 pilot episode, Bronn is trying to impress several naked women with his stories of dragon-shooting.
While he’s paying attention to one girl in particular, the other two start talking…
“Hey, that boy Eddie,” says the first girl.
“The ginger?” asks the second.
“That’s him. Came back with his face burnt right off. He’s got no eyelids now,” said the first girl.
The second girl asks, “How does he sleep with no eyelids?”
It’s not the type of conversation Bronn likes to have when he’s with a woman, so he cuts them off.
All we can say is, Sorry Ed.
