In case you needed a massive pick-me-up today, former Disney star Dylan Sprouse has just been announced as a new cast member of the sequel After the movie, After We Collided.

Anna Todd’s original One Direction fanfiction book series based around Harry Styles and his former bandmates gained INSANE popularity on the website Wattpad years ago, which quickly got adapted into a Hollywood box office hit.
Josephine Langford, the younger sister of 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford was cast in the original movie as Tessa Young, alongside Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who played the ~broody~ Hardin Scott (aka Harry Styles but we’re not allowed to say that anymore).
So, who is Cole Sprouse’s twin brother going to play in the highly anticipated sequel film? None other than Trevor.
For those who need a refresher, Trevor is Tessa’s co-worker at Vance Publishing, who inevitably gets in between her and Hardin’s strained relationship.
The news of Dylan’s involvement in the After sequel was announced on the movies Instagram page and Dylan’s Instagram story.
“Excited to be part of the @aftermovie series,” Dylan said. “Check out their page and I can’t wait to start filming, even if it is drying [during] Atlanta’s hottest month.”
As for the post on the official social media page, they posted a video of Dylan, writing, “We have our Fucking Trevor @dylansprouse ❤️ #afterwecollidedmovie“
The first After movie also featured singer Pia Mia, who played Tristan. So far, there has been no word on whether or not she will continue on in the movie sequel.
